Family weekend!

This weekend have been ALLLLL about the family! It's been GREAT!!! Although me and lil Nik have been sick, we still managed to do some family activities. Trying out restaurants here in bo01, laying and feeling the sun burning my skin on my face next to the ocean for the first time this year, going to a park, meeting my brother and just enjoying being with each other! I love living here, and I love my family so much! I know that what ever material things I will or will not have, my lotto in life is LOVE!!!

Sunny morning

This beautiful sunny morning started with Nicole helping me make eggs and bacon. And now were enjoying our breakfast in front of the tv and watching cartoon, Bolibompa!

The down side is that Nicole have infected me and I've catched a cold!!

Poor baby!

This weekend have been packed with disgusting amount of work, but at the same time, traditional Persian new year dinners AND Nicole getting injured and some stitches richer in her head!
Poor thing fell from the couch and hit her head on the table edge. Blood everywhere and I could not find the big fat whole in her head. So it ended with me, Nicole and M on ER and she got stitches! She was so brave, she did not even cry when they patched her up! When ever I strike her head and I feel her stitched I get chills all over my body and just get soooo damn sad for her! But I guess this is a part of parenthood!

How wonderful!

Today I got to to a couple of things I have not done before, and it was WONDERFUL!!! I started working early, my workday ended early (like normal time for normal people) and I got to pick up my daughter from kindergarden, meet up M with Nicole from his work and walk home (he works near our home) like a little family! And then M cooked, I played with Nicole and we had a wonderful family dinner at a normal reasonable time. And now M's brother is here, Nicole is sleeping and were watching tv! If this is a typical "boring", "Svensson" life then I freaking love it!!!
I hope that some day soon this will be our everyday!

Dreaming away

It's important to dream from time to time. What are we without our dreams anyway? Then we would be just plain simple animals who lived by the instincts that nature gave us. I'm glad that I take a moment everyday to dream away, dream about how to make my family happy, about my career, about the sun, about future trips, about exercise and so on! I love it!! Without my dreams I think I would have so little inspiration, goals and drive!

So keep dreaming people!!!!

Great day!

I have had a great day today! The last things that we needed to adjust in our home is coming together and it feel great!
And now we just finished a delicious meal that our friend Martin made for us! Lovely! And now were just sitting and laughing about old memories!

A wonderful man, my man!

Me and M do attend to get on each others nerves daily, but I'm glad that that's all of our problems and not other things that can't be fixed just by hugging each other or that one of us starts to laugh when we look at each other.
But I tell you, he is my love! He is so helpful and works so hard that U can't even imagine! He cooks like a god, and he takes such good care of me and Nic!
In Thursdays late after work I come home do a nice warm homecooked meal, a clean house and Nic that was ready to go to sleep. Yesterday he went to sleep next to Nic cuz she was coughing so much so me and his little brother could sit and watch our movie and just enjoy our selfs. This morning, the wonderful man that he is, he wanted to fix the balcony windows before he heads off to work!
Sometimes it's good to speak loud about the good qualities in our loved ones so we never take them for granted!

I thought of something, when my baby cousins leave for Stockholm
Nicole is gonna be soooo sad! All this time they have had together, playing and laughing! It's a big shame we don't have close friends that have kids! It's so easy for some mothers to connect and change numbers for future playdates, but me... I could never do that! The thought of hanging out with a complete stranger, and let my kid play with I don't know who's kid is just outrages for me!
Im not exactly the person who have a need to make new friends, and every time I get found of somebody they just turn out to be fake snakes, so the two best friends I hang out with and always have is enuf for all eternity, Monireh and Negar!!!
And by the way, this is a shitty day!!!

Daddys girl!

I've been sleeping at my parents house for a couple of days now, and those nights M slept home, I could really see bow much Nicole miss her daddy when he's not around! When she's falling asleep and have no control she says daddyyyyy, and the first thing she says when she wakes up is DADDY!! So this morning when she woke up and saw her daddy, U can just imagine how happy she was!!! Daddy's little girl :)

Today

Today has been a haaaard day work wise!
Then we all went to the movies and saw Sanctum in 3D. It was a good movie, but the people who sat behind us thought that they were home and our seats were the coffee table so that they could put up their legs, idiots! So we literally had to tell them to take down their legs!! Ad believe me there were aloooot of seats free. But we had a good time anyway :)

And I just found out that I'm free from work tomorrow so yeeeeey!!!

Now it's family time! :)
