Nic to emergency!!

Yesterday everything was fine. Nicole was feeling fine, playing like a happy kid and eating alright! Then she went to sleep. And suddenly around 23.00 she woke up with the worst cough ever. In Swedish we say that this kind of cough sounds like a dog barking. And her breathing was not the best. So we called the hospital line (11-77) and we did everything they said we could try. Like putting her head high, put clothes on her and go out in the cold 15 minutes a time, lift her up and so on...
After all this we decided to take her to the emergency room. In the taxi she threw up and her breathing was so bad we seriously that she was loosing her breath.
I'll tell you that it was a big luck, cuz when we arrived we were the only ones there. Hopefully they haired her disaster breathing on her way up the stares so they took her in a room right away and she got to breath in adrenaline in a mask a couple of times and she got some medicine. Apparently she got croup, or Krupp as you say in Swedish. It's something you have for one or to nights at most! It's a virus that you get in your thought. You can describe it like your breathing through a small straw and it hurts really bad when you cough. So we got home really late and no sleep for any of us.
It was so scary, my poor poor baby :(((
Hopefully she will have a calmer night tonight!! Fingers crossed!!!!

Salad night!

I just love our salad nights at our place. Sometimes when we feel like we wanna eat something, but we don't know what, M just quietly gets in the kitchen and prepares a bowl of salad for us (often Nicole is at sleep by then, otherwise of course she gets a bowl to;). Its aaaalways delicious!!! This was last nights salad




Try it, a "night" salad! Even just lettuce or just some slices of cucumber with some lemon/balsamic vinegar and olive oil is delicious!!!

Baby thoughts

If you would have asked me and M this summer that passed if we wanted another baby we would have said no! Then a few months after the summer something changed! We decided that we wanted another baby.
First of all because we wanted it, and it will be so great for Nicole to have a sibling. And after that decision it happened pretty fast :) which were thankful for.
The main thoughts that runs through my head is probably that how Nicole will react, that we have to be so careful to give both our children equally attention and love. Other than that I often think that it will probably be hard the first two years before the little one gets more independent. But after that they can play and participate much more! Out little family :))) I am so happy, grateful, thankful and EXITED about this!!

And I'm so relieved that we saved all of Nicole's stuff so were not in a position to buy everything again! Of course if it is a boy then some stuff needs to be renewed, like clothes! Other than that, we have 2 bugaboos car seats and furnitures!

I CAN'T waittttttt till you are here with us my sweet sweet lived little baby!!!!
In about two weeks were probably gonna find out if it is a boy or a girl :)

Nag post!

Moody bitch, cry baby and madhouse is probably the three phrases I could describe my self with right now!

Yesterday me and M had a fight! It was not one of those times you fight about nothing, but it was not the whole world either. But I felt so sad, angry and I felt like an explosion!! I screamed, cried and almost destroyed our tv and started to clean like a crazy person!!
I guess that's the only good thing about me when I get this crazy, I clean fast and really good!!!
And today, suddenly I felt like crying. But I didn't!!
The hormones are playing a big trick on me I'll tell you!
And this weather.... I'm thankful for the sun but when can we have some heat??? I want to go out without freezing my face off and have to wear so much clothes that I feel like I'm gonna explode!!! I'm sorry but..... WHAT THE FUUUUCK!!!!!

Last nights pasta

Some olive oil in the pan with a small chopped onion. Then you take what ever hot or spicy sausage you prefer, I used Pusta, and some mushrooms, chop it up in what ever shape you like and toss it in the pan along with the union. Then add some tomato sauce. Let it mix together for a while. Add cream and let it stand, not boil to much though! Now it's time for some broccoli. If you like your broccoli crunchy like me you add it at the end and don't let it cook along with the rest for to long. And before you serve it you add ALOTS of delicious good quality parmesan!!
Voila!!!

My absolute favorite pasta is spaghetti, so that's what we had!

Simple, fast to make, no extra unhealthy crappy ingredients and so yummy!!! Try it!

Snowflake*

FINALLY we got some snow!!! So of course we did what every other parents and their kids did here in Västra Hamnen, we went out and played in the snow :)
So after all the rides down the snowy hills and snowball fights we thought we cod built a big snowman! We started to roll this damn snowball in the snow for so long, and then finally one of the snowballs got big enough... M showed up with his happy face! He said: wow are we having a snowball fight and lifted our snowman's "upper body" and threw it ad destroyed it!!! Oh my gooooood! It was a good thing that the kids were a bit away, considering all the curses he had to hear!!!

What's with guys and destroying things???

Great start!

This day started with my home made Swedish pancakes, vanilla ice-cream and raspberry jam! This is a typical food that taste so much better and is so much more fun to make when you have kids at home.
People often talk about stuff you "can not" do when you have kids, but that's a load of crap I think! Think about ALL the good things in life that becomes so much better with these little sweethearts in your home!!! Can't wait till Nicoles brother or sister is born!!!!! A bigger family :D

Now M and Nicole is watching a documentary about tigers, hahaha! Father daughter fun, what can I say!

Oki this picture does not do justice, but I can TELL you guys that it vas freaking amazing!!! Bread, meat, bacon, tomato, red union, pickles, different sauces and crispy fries. M was freezing his ass off while we were waiting like vultures inside. He is so good when it comes to charcoal BBQ! Somehow he makes the meet and the bacon to taste REALLY smoky!!! If it was delicious!!!

Mother & doughter, mother & father

Yesterday me and Nicole were free from everything, so we went to "Leo's lekland". It's like a big playground but inside. For Nicole it costs 120 and no charge for grownups. Its totally wort it, they can play for HOURS!!!! So imagine what a goodnight sleep they get at night :)

After that it was some mommy and daddy time! So me and M went out to an romantic evening spent at "St Marcus vinkällare"! The food was good, but we both felt that the quality was not as good as the other times we have eaten there. But we had a great time, laughing, talking about old memories, fighting a few minutes haha and enjoying each others company!

So tonight were gonna barbecue for the first time this year! Of course were gonna eat inside, we're not completely crazy, just a little bit!
Burgers and smoky bacon on the charcoal is what's on the menu ;)

Don't mix laundry with steak dinner!

Tonight I cooked, and I made a steak dinner with some red wine sauce.
It was ok, but the problem was that I was washing, drying, cooking in the oven and several stuff on the stow and allot of other stuff that involved electricity at the same time. And in the middle of EVERYTHING the washing machine, stow and oven went out! And a visit from the "electric guys" made it!!!

He recommended me to NOT be so "multitask" from now on! Hahaha

Cravings!

Why does bread and sandwiches taste to damn good when you are pregnant??? I mean, ok at least it's better that the cravings I had when I was expecting Nicole, lime with salt on it. That led to some serious stomachache I'll tell you! But over and all I feel pretty good and now I can eat most food without having a urge to throw up the second I smell something!

My little handy girl

Of course everybody likes to tell stories about their own children, that's just what you do when you have a special person in your life that you love so much that you never ever could think would be possible to love as much as you do! So with that said I have to tell you all some funny stuff about lil Nic!
I love that you can not put this girl in category, she is so unpredictable and genuine! She loves to "steal" daddy's tools and start building and fixing, she loves glitter in her face, she is so not a big fan of dolls, she looooves motorcycles, she loves her veggies fruit and fish, at the same time she LOVES synthetic "lösgodis" candy!
And she loves it when the buildings handy man comes and fixes things that need to be fixed by the landlord. She sits and admire him and asks allots of questions. Lucky as we are he is a patient man who answers her questions and let her participate in his work!! So today she was so happy when he came to fix our window stand! She got to use the drill, glue and screws!

He suggested that she should become a handy man if she does not want to be a hair dresser! Hahaha!!!

So tired!

One of the changes that comes along with pregnancy is that you can't avoid the exhaustion! Some days if your lucky you have the energy of a Duracell bunny and the next day it kinda feels like you've been taking sleeping pills!
And today I literally feel like I'm on sedative!!! I think I need to overdose som iron pills today!

Yesterday was a very special day! Me and M got married :) we spent the day with our family and it was wonderful! It was all that we wanted, to get married and let our parents and siblings witness this incredible moment!

BIG NEWS!!!!

Today I almost [ALMOST] cried when I watched Grey's Anatomy!! And I don't cry during daytime TV!!

With that I wanna say that I'm pregnant :))) We could not be happier!!
