Yesterday everything was fine. Nicole was feeling fine, playing like a happy kid and eating alright! Then she went to sleep. And suddenly around 23.00 she woke up with the worst cough ever. In Swedish we say that this kind of cough sounds like a dog barking. And her breathing was not the best. So we called the hospital line (11-77) and we did everything they said we could try. Like putting her head high, put clothes on her and go out in the cold 15 minutes a time, lift her up and so on...
After all this we decided to take her to the emergency room. In the taxi she threw up and her breathing was so bad we seriously that she was loosing her breath.
I'll tell you that it was a big luck, cuz when we arrived we were the only ones there. Hopefully they haired her disaster breathing on her way up the stares so they took her in a room right away and she got to breath in adrenaline in a mask a couple of times and she got some medicine. Apparently she got croup, or Krupp as you say in Swedish. It's something you have for one or to nights at most! It's a virus that you get in your thought. You can describe it like your breathing through a small straw and it hurts really bad when you cough. So we got home really late and no sleep for any of us.
It was so scary, my poor poor baby :(((
Hopefully she will have a calmer night tonight!! Fingers crossed!!!!
